Student Mentor Post: Sorry I missed last week
Hi my friends! Sorry I missed last weeks post, I’ve been in a bit of a fog over confusion in my last class. Things have been sorted out this week though. I hope everything is going good for you guys. I have some amazing news to share with you all. I have been awarded the Jack Kent Cooke transfer scholarship! 😄😁☺️😊 I found out this past Friday and I feel like I hit the lottery. I am beyond grateful and ecstatic to be a part of such a prestigious organization ❤️ Apply to all scholarships, even the ones you think you will never get. You might just get the surprise of your life! https://www.jkcf.org/our-stories/2020-cooke-transfer-scholars/

Student mentor post: You guys!!!! Good news
Hi my fellow TRAin scholars! I am so excited. I am now done with two classes. I just finished my discrete mathematics class today! I’m beyond happy and relieved to have an A in such a challenging class. Time is on my side now. I have three assignments due tonight in my CSC240 so I am so grateful to have the time to focus on that now. I still have my Hispanic Film class but it is way more of a treat than coding so I think the rest of my semester is going to be great. I hope things are coming together for you my friends! Hope to see you all soon ☺️ Enjoy this picture of Kitty

Mentor Post: I’m back!
Hi TRAIN scholars! I miss you all and I miss being in the lab. I know life is very challenging right now but I think we can make it better by staying in touch. You can reach out to me on here or at my email mar2447081@maricopa.edu . Well, I don’t you about you guys but I’m feeling stir crazy. Having to essentially teach myself discrete mathematics and several computer languages on top of other classes and teaching my kids 😳 it’s a lot! If you need any help reach out to anyone. I have taken many classes at PC so if you’re struggling talk to me, I am happy to share notes and insight. Stay safe guys! Please stay in if you can ❤️
