Tomorrow is the bioscience Southwest conference at ASU main campus. I have had the pleasure of attending their last conference and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I have nothing to present from my work this semester but I can tag along with Dr. Cotter´s group. I hope to see lots of my cohorts there. I should have time in the morning to work on some of my app but there is also the HERMANAS workshop tomorrow. If anyone has time it is from 9-1 in the C building and it is a great opportunity for outreach where you can work with middle school aged girls in STEM type workshops.

Fall 2019: Mixer
Hi guys! I'm officially sick so this week has been rough. I did get stuff done on the bat front and on some issues with an app I'm working on. I'm just so glad that midterms and homecoming is over, now I can get so much more done. I am attending the bioscience conference at ASU next week and I'll let you know how that goes. I'm sure it will be as great as the last one. Today I am attending the mixer at ASU west, I am so excited to see all of my cohorts! Have a good weekend!

Fall 2019: So so busy
So once again, I have accomplished close to nothing when it comes to my project. I have been busy with all of the homecoming festivities. Today was the food day event. It went well, I helped with Garden Clubs table and Honors table. I had the chance to buy a bowl made by PC students or staff. I was even fed lunch. Overall the event went great. I even bid on a couple of items, didn't win but it was fun anyway. Remember guys, tomorrow is crazy sock day at PC! Well tomorrow you can find me in the lab working hard in my crazy socks.

Fall 2019: Homecoming festivities
Homecoming is approaching! STEAM club and Robotics club teamed up to build a cart float for the homecoming float parade. I think it came out great. Thankfully there was plenty of help. This week is my kids fall break so I'm not really getting much of my project done but next week it's back to work as usual.

Fall 2019: Bat Data!
I know this blog is titled bat data so you are probably wondering why my pictures are of rattlesnakes. Well, for the past two weeks of in field data collection I have ran into these awesome little guys on the trail! Yes! These are photos I took with my phone. I absolutely love seeing our Arizona wildlife but I have to admit it has been a little scary on the trail since these encounters. I think it's time to invest in headlamps!
